I don’t have many friends. I used to be alone. TSITSIPAS

Currently ranked no.5, Stefanos Tsitsipas seems to be destined for greatness. The Greek sensation has the right mindset to win multiple slams and to be remembered as one of the greatest.

However, Stefanos has never made a mystery of his peculiar character off the court and the fact that he has never enjoyed a particularly brilliant social life.

I like to be completely alone. TSITSIPAS

During a recent interview with the Socrates Magazine, Stefanos admitted

“I like living in my world. I do not have many, but very good friends in my closest environment. I like spending time with them, but the best part for me is to completely be alone and decide by myself what I want to do.

For me, it’s very important to be creative and not depending on others. I did not have an easy life at school because I was often alone. Nobody made me get in their friends’ group. My bad side is that I was traveling all the time to play tournaments somewhere.

I felt some of my classmates were jealous about my life. At the time, I tried not to take those things in a too big way and to always keep calm. It was not always easy.”

Stefanos has just ended his run at the Queen’s Club where he lost in the quarters to Felix Auger-Aliassime. The Greek is already preparing his Wimbledon campaign where last year he lost in the 4th round to John Isner.
