Lucie Safarova wins her 7th career title in Prague after defeating Sam Stosur 3-6 6-1 6-4. A disastrous start (0-3), made Safarova rally from a 1 set down. The Czech cruised in the second set after grabbing a 5-0 lead. Eventually, the championship was decided at the decider, and the difference was only one break for Safarova in the 7th game.
This is Safarova’s 1st title of the season. And the first in 14 months.
