Why Rafa can be the clear favorite
During a recent interview, uncle Toni explains why he thinks that Nadal among the favorites of the upcoming French Open. “Yes, Rafael is at a level that could allow him to be a clear favorite to win,” Toni said. “The top favorite will be Novak Djokovic, but the level showed by Rafa indicates that he can be one of the favorites.
As for his game and confidence, the victory in Monte Carlo is more than one title because Rafael moved like before, mentally he was so strong, he handled the difficulties. The matches like the one against Murray that required a better playing level were a plus.”
Rafa is now in Barcelona where he is bidding for his 9th title; then the King of Clay will head to Madrid and Rome before trying to win another Roland Garros. Game on!
