Roger Federer is currently in Halle where he is trying to win his 10th title.
The Swiss sensation had a solid start of his campaign after he defeated an inspired John Millman in the opening match 7-6 6-3.
Why Federer doesn’t like on-court coaching
After the match, the Swiss Maestro was asked about on-court coaching to answer
“I don‘t support on-court coaching, I think that I have the best team in the world, and so I don‘t think it‘s fair that I could profit from that and another guy, who has maybe no coach can‘t benefit at all.”
Talking about players that cannot afford a proper team, Roger added
“Prize money should be increased for qualifiers and challengers.”
Roger will play Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Thursday in the 2nd round in Halle. The head to head is 11-6 for the Swiss, but 1-0 of grass for the Frenchman.
