Sharapova might play the Olympics

It’s Sharapova’s time (but for the wrong reason). Everyone around the world is expressing his own idea about Maria’s situation and when she could be back after the ban.

The situation is extremely complicated because from one side everyone would like to see Masha back as soon as possible, from another Maria cannot have any favor just because she is extremely famous and marketable.

Weird in Russia

In Russia, probably not the country with the best record in doping, the Tennis Federation president, Shamil Tarpischev, commented “I feel it’s everything senselessness. Sportsmen take what doctors or physiotherapists give them. We will have to see how situation evolves. But I think Maria can play the Olympic Games.”

Well the fact that sportsmen should be exempted because they take what their what doctors or physiotherapists give them is a rather wrong statement that validates any sort of excuse. Not good.

The Lawyer

John Jaggerty, Maria’s lawyer, is already working to help Sharapova to have a mild ban to comment  “We are attempting to have a conversation with ITF up front because we think there are laundry list of extremely mitigating circumstances that once taken into consideration would result in a dramatically reducing any sanction that they might want to impose on Maria,”

THAT WOULD BE SHEER MAGIC
