Alcaraz On Court Interview

Recently, Carlos Alcaraz talked about his trip to Ibiza after winning the French Open. The Spanish player underlined how important it is to take occasional breaks from the game.

Alcaraz defeated Alexander Zverev in a tough five-setter to win the 2024 French Open. The Spaniard’s victory made him the youngest player to achieve a Grand Slam on three different surfaces.

Alcaraz, who hasn’t begun his grass tour yet, was enjoying some well-earned vacation following his victory at Roland Garros. During a news conference before the Cinch Open, the 21-year-old discussed his recent three-day trip to Ibiza with friends.

Alcaraz said: “I had a few days of vacation with a group of friends. I had a good time celebrating Roland Garros. I need these things too. It is clear that each player is different, but for me to have my best level, I need to separate my personal life from tennis. I want to have my days off, rest my mind, and be with family and friends. Put the racket aside. It is a time that suits me very well. To come back stronger with a lot of energy. So I had 3 days. It was enough for me. Here we are, with a lot of energy. Excited to keep going.”
