Amanda Anisimova is having a fantastic run at the French Open where she reached the 3rd round without dropping any set on her way following her wins against Harmony Tan (6-3 6-1) and Aryna Sabalenka (6-4 6-2).

However, we have not-so-good news from the American camp as the 17-year-old had to withdraw when playing doubles with Xenia Knoll citing a viral infection after just 20 minutes of play when they were 0-5 down.

Will Anisimova play in singles?

The doctor gave the green light for Amanda to play the singles, but it is still interesting to see her condition.

Amanda is opposed to Irina-Camelia Begu in the 3rd round. Hoping she will play.
