“I don’t care about winning, I want to have fun,” says Paquito Navarro to Juan Lebron

Since Paquito Navarro and Juan LeBron failed to produce success while keep their spark, there have been questions about whether the two will work well together when they return to the game in 2024.

Many people questioned whether Paquito Navarro and Juan LeBron would still be compatible in 2024 when they revealed they were getting back together.

In fact, these two fiery personalities would have opted to quit despite sharing first position in the WPT in 2019 because of the energy they could produce on the track. This year, the challenges in getting along are even more evident as results are slow to come in (we still haven’t had a final to bite into).

In order to qualify for Santiago Premier Padel P1 on Thursday, Paquito and Juan still had to overcome a somewhat inferior pair on paper. In fact, it took them three sets to eliminate Toni Bueno and Marc Quilez, qualifiers (6/2 4/6 6/1). Lebron was happy to keep the win at the end of the game, but his teammate said something rather different.

The English translation of the sequence is as follows:

Paquito: “I don’t care about winning, we can’t go on the track to suffer. I say it for both of us, the objective is to try to have fun.”

Lebron: “It hurts me because that’s what I want too.”

Paquito: “I will never have a better teammate than you in my fucking life!”

Lebron: “It’s mostly that I’m with you, and I know I can do a lot better.”

Paquito: “Above all, you are the best! I’m never going to find a player better than you and I know that, but we have to have fun man!

Lebron: “I don’t think I’m better than you, really.”

Paquito: “That’s why, the only thing left for us is to enjoy on the track, come on man, we’re going to try to have fun!”
