Amanda Anisimova defeats Harmony Tan 6-3 6-1 in the 1^st round in Paris on Tuesday after playing an amazing match to square off with Aryna Sabalenka in the 2^nd round.

The Match

The American was just too much for the world no.265. The only “interesting” moment was when the French player managed to recover a 0-3 deficit in the opening set (3-3), but that was the beginning of the end with Amanda winning 9 of the following 10 games to win the match 6-3 6-1.

Amanda served pretty well to win 78% of the points 25/32 behind her first serve. The American was exceptional in converting all the break points (5/5).
