Paula Badosa has stated that she wants to maintain the privacy of her relationship with Stefanos Tsitsipas. The couple just reconnected after a short breakup.
Badosa declared on social media at the beginning of May that she and Tsitsipas were splitting. After their breakup, the couple unfollowed one another on Instagram as well.
But Tsitsipas recently revealed in an interview that he and Badosa had decided to come together.
During a pre-French Open news conference in 2024, Badosa was questioned over her reunion with Tsitsipas. The Spaniard insisted on keeping things private and declined to provide too many details.
She expressed her thoughts about it and said: “Well, he already said everything. It’s pretty clear the relationship is working very well now, as he already explained, and I have nothing else to say. I mean, it’s already our private life. I think one of the things that, um, I didn’t like, or we didn’t like, is that it was very public.”
She further said: “I still understand that it’s going to be it’s not going to be easy because we’re two public people, and people will ask, but, uh, we want to keep it more for ourselves because it’s never easy to combine our careers to that. So let’s just try to keep it simple for both of us because I think it helps, and it’s healthier.”

Now the world no.9, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 16th of May when he was overcome by world no.16 Nicolas Jarry 3-6 7-5 6-4 in the quarter in Rome (draw).
Until now, during this year Tsitsipas has managed to achieve a 24-9 record. Stefanos has won 1 title in Monte-Carlo. Tsitsipas was the finalist in Barcelona.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will play the world no.53 Marton Fucsovics in the 1st round on Monday at 2:00 pm on Court SUZANNE-LENGLEN. Their record is 2-0 for Tsitsipas.
The Greek clinched 1 title in 2024 in Monte-Carlo. Stefanos got to the final in Barcelona (Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell).
