Dominic Thiem was celebrated after losing in the qualifying rounds at the French Open. He was presented with a commemorative trophy by the tournament director, Amélie Mauresmo, in front of a packed crowd on the Lenglen court.
Thiem, a two-time finalist at Roland Garros, received a warm welcome from the crowd with claps and cheers, showing appreciation for his efforts and contributions to the sport. The ceremony was a recognition of his career and his final run in the qualifying stage of the tournament before his retirement.
Nevertheless, the tournament has been fiercely criticized for not granting Thiem a wild card for the main draw.

LWLWLLLWLW Currently the world no.131, Dominic played his last match on the 20th of May when he beat world no.228 Franco Agamenone 3-6 6-3 6-2 in the qualifications of the French Open (draw).
Until now, during this year Dominic has achieved a composed 7-8 record.
Dominic Thiem will come up against the world no.156 Otto Virtanen in the qualifications on Wednesday at 12:00 pm on Court SUZANNE-LENGLEN. In the past, they have never competed against each other until now on the main tour.
Dominic won 17 titles in his career: 4 on hard courts, 10 on clay courts, 2 on indoor courts and 1 on grass courts. (See the list of his titles)
He is also scheduled to play at the French Open (French Open). The main draw will start on the 26th of May.
