On the other side of the draw seed no.1 Agnieszka Radwanska had a solid win against Qiang Wang (6-3 6-2) to play Ana-Lena Friedsamin the semis.
Agnieszka Radwanska needs one more win in Shenzhen to secure a top four seed @AustralianOpen. If not, it goes to Sharapova.
