Alejandro Tabilo has indeed withdrawn from the Lyon Open, making way for Arthur Rinderknech as a replacement. Tabilo’s decision to withdraw comes after his impressive performance at the Italian Open, where he defeated Novak Djokovic and advanced to the semifinals.

Tabilo is now having a run in Rome where he bested the world no.59 Yannick Hanfmann 6-3 7-64, the world no.1 Novak Djokovic 6-2 6-3, the world no.18 Karen Khachanov 7-65 7-610 and the world no.56 Zhizhen Zhang 6-3 6-4.
Alejandro Tabilo will play the world no.5 Alexander Zverev in the semifinal. In the past, they have never played each other till now in top tournaments.
