Coco Gauff talks about tennis vs. having kids and getting married

Coco Gauff has shown how committed she is to her tennis profession by putting her aspirations of marriage and family in the backseat. Gauff won her maiden Grand Slam title after defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the US Open final of 2023.

Gauff Talks About Family

Coco Gauff has demonstrated her dedication to her tennis career by ignoring her goals for marriage and family.

In the 2023 US Open final, Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka to win her first Grand Slam championship. With her success continuing into 2024, she made it to the semifinals of the Australian Open and successfully defended her ASB Classic title.

Speaking about her career, the American stated that she hopes to complete her Grand Slam and win a medal in either the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles or the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Gauff said at a press conference: “I guess tennis goals are definitely to win some more slams, and I want to medal at this Olympics or 2028. That would be cool.”

The American revealed that she hadn’t given her personal life ambitions much attention, but she underlined that marriage and children were not on the cards anytime soon because she was focused on her tennis career.

She expressed her thoughts about it and said: “Then life goals; honestly, I haven’t thought that far. Yeah, I mean, I’m not trying to do anything; I’m not trying to get married or anything (smiling). No kids. Yeah, just play tennis right now and we’ll see where life takes me off the court.”
