Famous tennis coach Boris Becker says that he has no intention of returning to train Novak Djokovic’s technical team.
Following his exit in the third round of Indian Wells, Djokovic ended a five-year relationship with Goran Ivanisevic. This led to speculation about his potential replacement in the World No. 1’s squad.
Regarding his coaching status going forward, the Serbian has yet to provide any clues, but the topic has generated a lot of headlines and talk show conversation.
The Serbian and the 56-year-old Becker had a good working relationship from 2013 to 2016, and they are still friends today. But recently, the German did say that he is looking for other work opportunities in the future.
Although the two maintained a close connection, Becker stated that he would be able to return to a coaching role.
Becker expressed his thoughts about it and said: “I think he’s looking for something different right now. I’m not sure he knows exactly what that is. He’s always going to be a close friend of mine, and we always speak about tennis. But I couldn’t possibly be his coach again because I’ve done that. It would be stepping back.”

LWWWLWLWWW At the moment ranked no.1, Novak played his last match on the 13th of April when he was overcome by world no.6 Casper Ruud 6-4 1-6 6-4 in the semifinal in Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters (draw).
This season the Serbian has managed to achieve a composed 11-4 record. Novak Djokovic’s best result of the present year was reaching the semifinal at the Australian Open and Monte Carlo.
Djokovic will compete next in Rome (Internazionali BNL d’Italia). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 8th of May.
