One of the biggest surprises of the year was given to American WTA player Coco Gauff as it featured Zendaya, her favourite actress. The actress won over the hearts of the tennis fraternity by using Gauff’s name as a reply to a unique question on the red carpet.
At the Los Angeles premiere of her new film Challengers on Tuesday, April 16, Zendaya recently revealed her adoration for the current US Open women’s singles champion, Gauff. She just attended the movie’s Westwood Village Theater showing in Los Angeles.
She spoke for a while in an interview and mentioned during the conversation that she would like to meet Gauff in person.
Zendaya said: “I love Coco, I haven’t met her yet but I sure hope so. Brad is her coach so I’m like ‘I want to meet her.”

WWLWLWWLWW At the moment ranked no.3 (career-high), Gauff played her last match on the 25th of March when she was overcome by world no.23 Caroline Garcia 6-3 1-6 6-2 in the 4th round in Miami (draw).
Until now, during this year Coco achieved a composed 18-5 match record. The American clinched 1 title in Auckland.
Coco Gauff will take on the world no.134 Sachia Vickery in the 2nd round on Wednesday at 4:30 pm on Centre Court. In the past, they have never played each other up to now in top events.
Coco has won 1 title in 2024 in Auckland.
