Tsonga in top10. Dimitrov in free fall

After the ATP1000 in Shanghai, we have some interesting movement in the rankings.

Djokovic

Nole didn’t actually “move” in the rankings, but after winning the tournament in Shanghai, he has now +8000 pts over world no.2 Andy Murray.

Tsonga

Jo-Wilfried is finally scaling back the rankings after reaching the final in Shanghai. The Frenchman is now the world no.10 and no.9 in the year to date rankings. This means that Jo has a shot at qualifying for the season’s finale.

Dimitrov

Tough year for Grigor Dimitrov that has lost his coach, his girlfriend, his rankings and probably his confidence. The Bulgarian is now ranked no.26 … let’s hope to have him back asap.

Tomic

Bernard is silently rising in the rankings. The Australian no.1 had a great run in Shanghai to reach the quarters after beating Verdasco, Ferrer, and Gasquet. Tomic is no world no.18 (career high) and counting…
