After winning the US Open and suffering injuries that halted her progress, Emma Raducanu has long been a target of criticism, with the media and some members of the tennis community closely observing her every move. Max Eisenbud, her agent, has stated that the insulting remarks must stop.

Raducanu has supporters, including her agent, Eisenbud, despite the criticism she has received for her recent decline in performance.

Eisenbud expressed his thoughts recently and said: “I just think people should not be malicious. I think anything else is fair game if you want to rip her serve or you want to rip that she hasn’t won three matches in a row. I think just don’t be malicious to her because the girl did everything backward. She skipped every step. She won the US Open; she went to the next tournament. She didn’t even know where the player lounge was.”

He added: “She didn’t know where the practice courts were. She didn’t know anything. She is still figuring it out; it was very hard to do what she did. She is a really good tennis player and I think she’s going to figure it out. Once she gets to the second week of a tournament, she is not going to be afraid to win it when there are a lot of people who are afraid to win it. I think she showed her nerve and what she did had that champion quality that I believe you can’t teach. It’s going to happen again for her.”
