Thomas Berdych wins his 11th career title in Shenzhen!
The world no. 5 wins the title without dropping a single set in the enire tournament defeating Garcia-Lopez in the final 6-3 7-6 (7).
The biggest struggle for the Czech was the rain as the semifinal was postponed of day and eventually the final also endured a 1 hour delay.
Berydch: I kept my focus
Thomas commented “The last three days were tough, especially mentally to keep being very focused. I was the one who dealt with that the best. I’m proud of myself to make it happen, because these conditions were not easy at all.”
This is the 1st title of the season for Thomas that one the last one last year in October (Stockholm).
