In the aftermath of her Doha Final loss against Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina admitted that her match slipped away due to an unlucky leg issue at a crucial moment when she had momentum, making points difficult given the windy conditions and both players’ determination.
Despite the challenges of the tournament, with nine matches in ten days, Rybakina expressed satisfaction with her consistency, which has resulted in four 1,000 finals and two titles already in 2024. Though she had touchdown predictions at the beginning of the year, Rybakina expressed pride in her achievements so far and looked forward to the upcoming tournaments.

Now the world no.4, the Kazakhstani played her last encounter on the 17th of February when she surrendered to world no.1 Iga Swiatek 7-6(8) 6-2 in the final in Doha (draw).
At the moment, during this season Rybakina owns a 15-3 record. Rybakina clinched 2 titles in 2024 in Brisbane and Abu Dhabi. Elena reached the final in Doha.
Rybakina is scheduled to play next in Dubai (Dubai Duty Free Championships). She will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 19th of February.
