Carlos Alcaraz had a disappointing campaign at the Australian Open, where he lost in the quarterfinals to an inspired Alexander Zverev. The Spanish sensation will take a little break, then head to Latin America, where he will play in the so-called Golden Swing. WWWLWWWWWW Ranked world no.2, Alcaraz played his last match on the 24th of January when he was overcome by world no.6 Alexander Zverev 6-1 6-3 6-7(2) 6-4 in the quarter of the Australian Open (draw).
Until now, during this year the Spaniard has an overall 4-1 record.
He is also scheduled to play in Buenos Aires (Argentina Open). The main draw will start on the 12th of February.
