Emma Raducanu is expected to change her coaching arrangements yet again with her childhood coach, Nick Cavaday, on tour at the Australian Open.

Cavaday has reportedly travelled to Melbourne to see Raducanu, who has chosen to participate in an exhibition event next week in Kooyong rather than an official WTA tournament.

Cavaday, who is also from Kent, worked with Raducanu at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton before Christmas, having trained her when she was a teenager.

Jane O’Donoghue, a former worker at the LTA, provided Raducanu with assistance during her excellent performance this week when she nearly defeated Elina Svitolina. It’s unclear if O’Donoghue will be permitted to continue for the Australian Open, which is typical of Raducanu’s flexible arrangements.
