The Japanese hits an incredible winner from behind the back
Japan is on a rise!
Kei Nishikori hits the headlines after beating Nadal in straight sets in Montreal and in the same week his compatriot Yoshihito Nishioka gets a moment of glory after hitting an incredible shot.
What happened?
The talented Japanese was playing the Challenger 100 in Aptos against Donaldson when in the third set he strikes an amazing winning volley from behind the back while he was completely wrong footed. The reaction was amazing.
Eventually Nishioka won the match 4-6 6-3 6-3, but the best memory was definitely that shot.
