Sloane Stephens has just won her maiden tournament in Washington, but apparently she really wants more.
The American was playing Dominica Cibulkova in the Toronto opener and she was clearly displeased with her tennis (eventually she lost 6-3 6-4).
What happened?
It was the 35th minute of the match when Sloane missed a backhand and in full rage she smashed the racket on the court. The result was a nasty “decapitation” of her racket.
… that’s new.
