Carlos Alcaraz expressed his excitement for his upcoming exhibition match in Riyadh against Novak Djokovic.
The match between Djokovic and Alcaraz is scheduled for December 27 and is being advertised as the centrepiece of the Riyadh Season festival. It is being hosted by the prestigious General Entertainment Authority of the nation. For both players, this match will act as a warm-up to the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open in 2024.
Aryna Sabalenka and Ons Jabeur will also compete in this exhibition match. The date of their match is set for December 26. Now that the match is about to take place in the Gulf nation, Carlos Alcaraz has taken to social media to share his excitement about it as well as his desire to play Novak Djokovic.

Ranked world no.2, Carlos played his last match on the 18th of November when he lost to world no.1 Novak Djokovic 6-3 6-2 in the semifinal in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
This year Alcaraz achieved a compiled 65-12 record. Carlos clinched 6 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona, Madrid, London and Wimbledon. Carlos reached the final in Rio de Janeiro and Cincinnati.
