He is currently a 24-time Grand Slam Champion competing in the ATP Finals, and he has accomplished the incredible feat of becoming the number one ranked player at the end of the year for an unprecedented 8th time.

It’s time for the Serbian tennis player to receive his just reward after taking home the Paris Masters title and maintaining his dominance on the court. After winning the ATP Finals in the first round, Djokovic will now finish the 2023 tennis season ranked No. 1. After his victory and the validation of his ranking, Djokovic got a little emotional.
Djokovic expressed his thoughts in the post-match interview and said: “The significance of tonight’s match, knowing if I won I’d clinch the no.1 ranking. It means a lot. You could see there were a lot of emotions on the court. I could feel it. I was eager to win tonight and get that monkey off my back. I won Paris, which put me in a much better position rankings-wise.”
He further added: “A big goal is achieved. Everything else now is a bonus.”
He is going to end the year ranked first for the eighth time courtesy of this performance. Along with that, he is certain to end the tournament with a memorable year-ending 400th career week at the top of the ATP rankings. In addition, he made a suggestion that he was happy with how he had reached a big goal.

WWWWWWWLWW Currently the world no.1, Novak played his last match on the 12th of November when he overcame world no.8 Holger Rune 7-6(4) 6-7(1) 6-3 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
Currently, during this year the Serbian has managed to achieve an overall 52-5 record. Djokovic conquered 6 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open, French Open, Cincinnati, U.S. Open and Paris. The Serbian was the runner-up in Wimbledon.
