Roddick back to pro tour

Nowadays being retired from tennis at 32 seems to be a bit early and Andy Roddick may miss some action.

Andy decided to give a shot at doubles in Atlanta to play with his friend and “soon-to-be-retired” Mardy Fish that has been struggling for some time with his accelerated heartbeat.

Roddick: I have a long history with Mardy

Andy commented “It seems like since he made his announcement and he can kind of see the finish line, it’s almost a weight has been lifted off his shoulders a little bit. I can be a small part of kind of helping him this week, I’m happy to do it. We have a very long history. It’s something I wanted to do.”

The top seeds in doubles are the Bryans that have not been playing in Atlanta since 2011.

Roddick will also play an exhibition against world no.274 and rising star Tiafoe.
