Tomic refuses making peace with Tennis Australia

Bernard Tomic might be confused with many things, but 1 thing is clear: he doesn’t like the current management team of Tennis Australia.

The Aussie has been suspended by TA after a curious rant during a Wimbledon press conference. From that moment on everything went from bad to worse with Tomic’s father threatening to sue Tennis Australia for a clerical error on their website; then Tomic was arrested in Miami etc. etc.

Tennis Australia tried to fix things by inviting Tomic to talk to them, but eventually Bernard refused to comment “I am always ready, willing and able to play for Australia. It is my honour and privilege to do so. I consider that I have a good record and it is my hope to continue to represent my country.

Importantly, I would like to thank previous TA administrators for their financial support in the past. Current TA administrators sacked me from the Davis Cup for comments I made at Wimbledon. I stand by those comments. Contrary to some self-serving reports, I am OK and strong. I have not hit rock bottom. Thank you for your continued support. I know I need to work harder.”
