Recently, Stefanos Tsitsipas talked about his relationship with his girlfriend and fellow tennis player Paula Badosa in a few touching remarks.
The world No. 7 believed that even though the two weren’t tennis players, they were meant to be together in an interview conducted ahead of the 2023 Vienna Open, which is currently taking place.
Tsitsipas expressed his relationship with his girlfriend Badosa and said: “I honestly think that even if we wouldn’t have been tennis players, we would have found the same passion and love for each other. It just happened to come from tennis, which is a beautiful story because my journey started from tennis and her journey started from tennis.”
The Greek player thought that the two had a rare connection. He added: “I feel like we so much belong to each other; it’s a very rare thing, and I feel like I don’t want to sound cliche or cheesy, but that’s how it is.”
Tsitsipas claimed that because they were both tennis players, Badosa and Tsitsipas were certain and straightforward about their shared lives. He concluded: “It’s difficult to find a person that’s going to understand the life of a tennis player and subscribe to it and say, ‘This is what I want to do’ and in the case of Paula, I feel like there’s nothing that is misunderstood or not on the same path, clear and certain.”

Tsitsipas in Vienna, ranking, and results in 2023
Currently ranked no.7, Tsitsipas has achieved a compiled 48-20 match record in 2023. Tsitsipas is currently playing in Vienna where he defeated the world no.99 Dominic Thiem 7-65 6-4, the world no.74 Tomas Machac 6-3 4-6 7-5 and the world no.77 Borna Gojo 7-64 7-5.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will come up against the world no.3 Daniil Medvedev in the semifinal. The head to head is 8-4 for Medvedev.
Stefanos conquered 1 title in 2023 in Los Cabos. The Greek was the runner-up at the Australian Open and in Barcelona (Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell).

Tsitsipas has scheduled to compete next in Paris (Rolex Paris Masters). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 30th of October.
Paula Badosa in 2023
Currently the world no.67, Badosa played her last match on the 7th of July when she had to retire when playing against world no.39 Marta Kostyuk in the 2nd round and the scoreline was 6-2 1-0 .
Currently, during this season Paula has managed to achieve an overall 18-9 match record. Paula Badosa’s best result of the year was getting to the semifinal in Adelaide.
