Nadal had previously suggested that Djokovic might have been more frustrated than himself if he hadn’t won more singles majors than his peers. Djokovic’s response highlights his respect for Nadal while acknowledging a difference in perspective.
In an interview with Sportal, Djokovic expressed his views on Nadal’s comments, stating, “Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. Rafa is a great champion, my biggest rival, and a player who contributed to shaping my game and the results I’ve achieved.”
He went on to add, “I have no intention of speaking negatively about him or Roger Federer. My respect for them supersedes any differing opinions. That’s Rafa’s opinion, and I don’t agree. I have my opinion, but I won’t share it as there’s no need to go deeper into that.”
