Carlos Alcaraz is very confident going into the 2023 Shanghai Masters although his 2023 China Open campaign may not have ended on the ideal note. Alcaraz was a strong fit, especially in light of how China’s events have developed.

The Spaniard was defeated by Jannik Sinner in Beijing, ending his run without a trophy, but he was pleased with the level of play he showed and is confidently heading to Shanghai.
