Del Potro to undergo 3rd wrist injury on Thursday!

Tough luck for Juan Martin Del Potro as the Argentine has to endure another operation to his wrist.

Delpo tried to be back to competitions last January after being operated to his wrist in 2014. Juan Martin’s confidence was pretty high, but unfortunately things got complicated quite soon as the Argentine kept on struggling.

The Announcement

Del Potro has now announced that he will have to undertake another operation to his left wrist as also his tendon was injured “I have the support of my doctor who let me make other consultations and in fact all those roads lead me to the same place and the same objective.  If I want to return to tennis I have to face surgery again and I will do that with the doctor I have faith in who cured my right hand,”

The operation will take place in the USA this coming Thursday.

A bit of history

The 2009 US Open champion was operated to his right wrist in 2010 and he went under the knife (left wrist) last year in March. This year Delpo had a already a minor operation in January to mitigate the pain… now he will go for a more serious one…

Let’s see what is going to happen. At 26 years of age there is still time to be back in style.

Good luck Delpo!
