Novak Djokovic is having a rather awful time on court after he won the Australian Open.
The world no.1 crashed out in the 3rd round Indian Wells, in the 4th in Miami, and the quarters in Monte Carlo. The Serbian seems to have lost his grit, and the “ominous presence” of Pepe Imaz is back in his Djokovic’s box (see why that could be not good).
Djokovic no.1 also in YTD rankings
However, after collecting 180 points in Monte Carlo, Djokovic overtakes Roger Federer in the Year to Date rankings to be the world no.1 in this log that is an indication of the players’ chances to qualify for the ATP Finals in London.
Fabio Fognini in the top10
After his fantastic run in Monte Carlo where he won his first ATP1000, Fabio Fognini goes up 90 places in the Year to Date Rankings to be no.7. That means that if the Italian has the ATP Finals in his sight, at least for now.
