Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios are definitely going to be the big names in pro tennis in the years to come. Both have an exciting game and both are capable to win matches after saving tons of match points. Thanasi has just won an incredible match against his compatriot Bernard Tomic coming from behind (0-2 sets down) and saving 3 MPs on the way when he was 3-5 down in the 5th set. Kokkinakis commented “I don’t think either one of us was playing great tennis the first two, three sets. Eventually I kept hanging in there. I trusted my fitness, and it paid off.”

Thanasi will play Djokovic in the 3rd round for the first time to comment “He just does everything so well and so professional. I guess that’s why he’s had such great success in his career so far. Everything he does is pretty top notch, and that’s why he is World No. 1. I’m just going to do what I do well, and hopefully execute on the day.”
