BACK INJURY. Holger Rune provides some injury updates

Before his first match at the Cincinnati Masters, Holger Rune was on a losing streak of four games and had previously withdrawn after suffering from a back issue.

Holger Rune’s recent performance hasn’t been good, and now the Danish player is struggling with a potential injury. At Wimbledon, he was performing admirably, but since then, things have declined significantly. It all began at the Hopman Cup, where he lost both of his games and admitted that he had been ill.

Rune just provided an update regarding his injury concerns on his official Twitter account and said: “Short update. Small improvements on the back pain. Scan, X-ray, treatment and excellent team work between doctors in New York and Monaco and my team making me sure that I will be ready for practice on Monday. Grateful for everyone taking action.”
