Iga Swiatek praised her coach for requesting that she change clothes after she lost the opening set of her match in the round of 16.

Iga Swiatek Wins At Cincinnati

Iga Swiatek, the world’s top player, beat China’s Zheng Qinwen in the current Cincinnati Open, and she gave her coach credit for advising an outfit change after losing the first set.

After the match, Siwatek thanked her coach for asking her to change into new outfits after she lost the first set in her match. In the round of 16, Zheng was defeated by Swiatek, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1.

Swiatek talked in the post-match conference and said: “My coach told me months ago that after losing a set it might be a good idea to change outfits. I tried this time and it worked.”
