Felix Auger Aliassime wants the top10 by 2020

The Canadian has it clear what he wants from his career and what he needs to do to achieve that

Auger Aliassime in top10

Felix Auger Aliassime is full of confidence!

The 18-year-old has just hit (hard) the headlines after he reached the semifinal at the Miami Open and he is ready to go for more, much more.

Currently ranked no.33, the young Canadian has acquired the confidence that he can compete against everyone in the world. Felix is about to start the European clay court season, and he is widely expected to receive a wildcard to compete in the main draw in Monte Carlo where he has also elected his new residence.  Later Felix will play in Barcelona before heading to Madrid where they have already granted him a wild card.

Auger Aliassime about breaking in the top10

During a recent interview with Ici Radio-Canada, Felix made it clear that his objective is to break in the top10 in 2020 to say

“My objective is next year. I still have to work, I have to improve my game, and the consequences will be that my ranking will rise.”

Why Felix can break in the top10 already in 2019

The teenager is already no.12 in Year to Date rankings. This means that if he keeps on performing like he has been doing for the last 3 months, he has a shot already in 2019. Probably this is his real target.
