Venus Williams Talks About His Challenges With An Illness

Venus Williams started the 2011 US Open as the No. 36 player in the world after completely missing the US Open Series due to a viral illness.

She was diagnosed with an autoimmune rheumatic condition, which drains her of her vitality and causes fatigue and joint discomfort which is called Sjögren’s syndrome.

Venus Williams has shared her top methods of handling the issue and leading her best life. She did it a short while ago during a Q&A on her YouTube page.

In response to a user’s question, she said: “If your eyes are so dry, you can’t function. Or your mouth is so dry that, I don’t even want to mention the consequences. I hope you’re getting the care you need, find out what medicines work for you. Make sure you get enough sleep, and find out what your limit is. If you push past your limit, you can start to crash. You can still achieve the same things but you are going to have to do it in a way that you can sustain.”
