Matteo Berrettini values having fun over winning in games and competitions. If he can find a way to enjoy himself through practice and competition, Berrettini believes that triumphs and titles will follow.
The Italian No. 1 is already living his goal because he is surrounded by some of the greatest competitors in sports history.
Berrettini, who was a Wimbledon finalist in 2021, was at his best on the 2022 grass swing before a harsh COVID-19 positive disqualified him from the All-England Championship.
His nickname is “the Hammer,” therefore in the ridiculous video, you can see Berrettini playing with the Thor hammer at one point.

LWWWWWLLWW Currently the world no.40, Berrettini played his last match on the 10th of July when he surrendered to world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz 3-6 6-3 6-3 6-3 in the 4th round in Wimbledon (draw).
Until now, during this year Berrettini owns a compiled 12-9 record. Matteo Berrettini’s best result of the current season was getting to the final in Australia.
Berrettini is scheduled to compete next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
