How John Isner defeated Felix Auger Aliassime

The 18-year-old from Canada lost in straight sets and with a double breaker, but he has a lot to think about it. Felix had the opportunity to serve-out both sets while leading 5-4 in the opener and 5-3 in the second set. However, Auger Aliassime cracked on both occasions, and it was Isner to win both sets and the match in 1 hour and 53 minutes. The final score was 7-6 (3) 7-6 (4).

The American managed to hold his nerves in the crucial moments. However, 7 double faults from the Canadian were rather good help.

Isner will face either Roger Federer or Denis Shapovalov in the final.
