On July 30, at the Hamburg European Open, Alexander Zverev defeated Serbian Laslo Djere 7-5 6-3 to claim his first championship since the ATP Finals in 2021.
Alexanders’ girlfriend Sophia took to Instagram to post images of the trophy ceremony on her account and she was very excited about his victory.
After Zverev made the decision to shower his supporters in champagne, she captioned the picture. “I knew it. But, as long as he wins, Make us wet as much as you want.”
Apparently, Zverev and Thomalla have known each other for four years through a mutual friend. The couple made their relationship official in late 2021. Since then, both have been together and share a lovely bond although Alex’s tough tennis schedule throughout the year.
Thomalla said in a documentary: “We don’t have a simple life together. Alex, with the incredible amount of sports he has and the continuity he has to go through again and again – and my life is anything but continuous. It’s not 24/7 red roses now.”

LWWLWLWLWW At the moment ranked no.16, Zverev played his last match on the 30th of July when he overcame world no.38 Laslo Djere 7-5 6-3 in the final in Hamburg to win his 20th career title.
Presently, during this year Alexander has achieved an overall 33-18 record. Alexander conquered 1 title in Hamburg.
Zverev will compete next in Toronto (National Bank Open). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of August.
