Nick Kyrgios heavily insulted by “racist, homophobic hater” on Social Media

The Australian exposes a troll on social media

Nick Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios it’s a rather controversial figure. It’s either you love him (a lot), or you hate him (a lot).

During his 3rd round match at the Miami Open, the Australian was in full “Kyrgios mode,” and among the other things, he had a quirky spat with a spectator that eventually was removed from the stands when things were becoming a bit too hot. Finally, Nick won that match against Dusan Lajovic 6-3 6-1.

Unfortunately, after that match, Kyrgios was heavily insulted on social media with racist and homophobic comments. Nick posted

“You have to question the world when a grown ass man feels the need to reach out with this hate?! A racist, homophobic hater, yet I’m the disgrace? How messed up is the world? You’d be surprised how much of this shit I have to put up with, especially from Australia.”

This is kind of trolling is utterly inexcusable on any level, however, a more “balanced” behavior on court and social media may help Nick to avoid this kind of “attention.”
