Ranked world no.5, the Greek played his last match on the 10th of July when he was defeated by world no.43 Christopher Eubanks 3-6 7-6(4) 3-6 6-4 6-4 in the 4th round in Wimbledon (draw).

Until now, during this year the Greek owns an overall 35-13 win-loss record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s best achievement of the present season was reaching the final at the Australian Open and Barcelona.
