For the last few days, there was a rumor around about Genie Bouchard hiring former Azarenka’s coach Sam Sumyk.
Strange enough Genie, her agent and Sumyk himself were incredibly secretive on this. The Canadian was training almost in the shadow and when asked Sumyk refused to comment. Things were becoming a bit ridiculous, so Genie decided to disclose the hiring Genie’s way posting a selfie with Sam.
Interesting enough Sumyk didn’t seem to be the happiest guy on the planet. Probably his task is not smiling, but bringing Genie to the next level!
Sam managed to mold Azarenka to take her to the top spot in the rankings (she was no.7 when she started working with him).
