Carlos Alcaraz Cramping

At 20 years of age, Carlos Alcaraz is already one of the strongest tennis players in the world thanks to his fantastic tennis and also attitude. Nevertheless, according to tennis legend Matz Wilander, Carlitos should be less active on court in order to avoid injuries and cramps. Alcaraz was not able to compete properly against Novak Djokovic in the recent French Open semifinal after he started cramping already in the third set of their match. During his young career, he has also recorded a lot of injuries that may have been caused by putting too much energy when playing matches and training.

As reported by L’Equipe, Wilander commented: “Maybe he needs to be less ‘active’ on the court. Trying less to go for impossible balls and saving his energy. A 5 sets match is really something special.”
