Taylor Fritz was the target of the French audience at the recently held French Open when he defeated a French player. His antics during the match escalated the situation. The couple was overpowered by the security detail they were given because of threats, according to Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle.
Fritz received a lot of hate following his match against Arthur Rinderknech in the second round. The locals were not happy about the American player losing to a Frenchman at the French Open, and they let him know it. He responded by firing back at the crowd because he would not take the insults lying down.

Morgan commented: “The last two days that we were in Paris, the French Federation gave us, like, two absolute units. Like these huge bodyguards that had to stay with us 24/7, because Taylor was getting so many threats because of everything that has happened.”

WLWWWLLLWW Currently ranked no.8, Fritz played his last match on the 3rd of June when he lost to world no.20 Francisco Cerundolo 3-6 6-3 6-4 7-5 in the 3rd round of the French Open (draw).
At present, during this year Fritz owns a 31-12 match record. Taylor has won 2 titles in 2023 in Australia and Delray Beach.
He is also scheduled to play in Eastbourne (Rothesay International) on the 26th of June and Wimbledon (Wimbledon) on the 3rd of July.
