Novak Djokovic has made his plans for the future clear by discussing a potential tennis retirement that will not come any soon. After winning his 23rd Grand Slam title in the 2023 Roland Garros, he discussed about his future. The Serbian has moved past Rafael Nadal to establish a new men’s singles record and has distanced himself from Roger Federer. He now has Wimbledon in mind.
Djokovic commented: “Obviously, the journey isn’t over yet. I feel, you know if I’m winning Grand Slams, why think about, you know, ending the career that’s already been going on for 20 years. So I still feel motivated, I still feel inspired to play the best tennis in these tournaments, you know, the Grand Slams.”

WLWWWLWLWW Currently the world no.1, the Serbian played his last match on the 11th of June when he defeated world no.4 Casper Ruud 7-6(1) 6-3 7-5 in the final of the French Open to win his 94th career title.
During this season the Serbian has achieved a 27-4 record. The Serbian has won 3 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open and French Open.
Djokovic has scheduled to play next at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 3rd of July.
