Novak Djokovic has just won the French Open to become the first man in tennis history who has won 23 majors. For many, this is one of the signs that Novak Djokovic is the so-called GOAT (greatest of all time). However, during a recent interview, Novak said that he does not like to be called the “greatest” out of respect for all the other players who have also competed in other eras.
Novak said: “I don’t want to say that I am the greatest because I feel it’s disrespectful towards all the great champions in different eras of our sport that was played in a completely different way than it is played today. So I leave those kinds of discussions of who is the greatest to someone else. I have of course huge faith and confidence and belief in myself and for everything that I am and who I am and what I am capable of doing.”

WLWWWLWLWW Now ranked no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 11th of June when he beat world no.4 Casper Ruud 7-6(1) 6-3 7-5 in the final of the French Open to win his 94th career title.
Currently, during this year Novak has managed to achieve an overall 27-4 record. Novak has won 3 titles in 2023 in Adelaide, Australian Open and French Open.
Djokovic has scheduled to compete next at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 3rd of July.
