According to Nick Kyrgios, Carlos Alcaraz learned a very important lesson after getting cramps as a result of the tension and stress of competing in a match of the greatest caliber. Alcaraz’s right calf cramped up early in the third set of his French Open semifinal match against Djokovic. Later Carlitos revealed that all his body was cramping.

After receiving medical attention, Alcaraz was able to finish the game, but his movement was severely restricted and he wasn’t at his best. Djokovic triumphed 6-3 5-7 6-1 6-1 in the end.

Nick Kyrgios tweeted his support for Carlitos, saying: “Feel for Alcaraz. Just a big learning process, pretty sure every tennis player goes through this feeling. Cramping due to nervous energy and the anxiety of playing a match with this magnitude. He will learn how to deal with this in the future for sure. Then we should be scared.”
