Sascha Zverev was expected to compete in Rotterdam, but the world no.3 will not play because of an ankle injury.

The German was supposed to be the top seed, but eventually he won’t make it, and it’s not clear if his problem to the ankle derives from the injury sustained in Melbourne during one of his training.

This is the second notable withdraw of this tournament after Grigor Dimitrov pulled out because of shoulder tendinitis.

Zverev is still scheduled to play the ATP500 in Acapulco that will commence the 25th of February.
